    Description

    Bugle Horn  1202.     Measures TWENTY TWO & 3/8 INCHES STRAIGHT ACROSS!!.     The Opening is 3 1/4" WIDE!!.  Check the beautiful TWIST & Stunning Color streaks!
    This is
    NOT
    a "musical" horn.  It's a "COWBOY" Bugle horn.  What the cowboys used to use to
    amplify
    sound back in the day by parsing their lips and blowing into the small end.  The hollow horn would then AMPLIFY that sound when it came out the BIG end.
    These are made out of REAL steer horns.  Horn grows in layers (much like your fingernails do) so when they go to cut out and polish the mouthpiece, sometimes one of the top layers will flake off.  They simply polish it that way.  But I picture it just so you can see what I mean.  It affects nothing and simply can't be helped when sawing and polishing these horns down.
    GORGEOUS Western Bugle Horns were used in the days of the old west because they were a) Readily available b) easy to use when you needed to Amplify NOISE because they're hollow & c) very functional. They can be made of many materials & MANY different types of HORN. These days, many are made of the more common cow or Bull horns. For the sake of authenticity, we choose to make ours out of the more rare authentic LONGHORN Steer Horns. FUNCTIONAL Western Bugle Horn.
