Vintage Portable Swamp Cooler.

Description

Vintage Portable Swamp Cooler. Mid 20th Century Modern. "Jetson" style.
Late 50's-early 60's. Original Universal Model B-1220 from Wright Manufacturing, Phoenix, Arizona.
Seller refurbished. In working condition. Period-inspired airbrush and splatter paint art design on all sides. Some areas could use some minor touch-ups. Pour water in from the base of the filter panel fins in back. Antennna floats up from top to indicate water level.
Since outside air is not introduced into the unit as in a full size swamp cooler, the unit acts as a room air purifier with air
filtering
through it's cooling wet fibers capturing airborne particles.
Caution: Must be picked up by the center of the top handle only! If picked up by the ends of this handle, the metal will bend at the mounting point and possibly break off (this almost happened once).
