Vintage KLUSON SUPER TUNERS for Gibson Les Paul Custom ES-5 Switchmaster Guitar

This is a pretty unique item found in a box with other vintage guitar restoration parts that I'm listing so please look at the other listings for related items.
This is a COMPLETE set of vintage
gold plated Kluson Super tuners, with bushings and screws
, as seen on several Gibson guitars from the 1950's and 1960's, notably the Les Paul Custom and even others. These tuners have a
12:1 gear ratio
as found on 1950's and 1960's era Kluson tuners. T
he posted pics were taken with and without a flash so you could see all details clearly. Gold plating is lightly faded as might be expected given the age but there are no apparent condition issues. All posts are straight and rotate smoothly. These tuners have been in storage for the past 40+ years since the music shop closed in the late 1970's.
According to the Kluson tuner web site, Kluson Super tuners with celluloid buttons were discontinued in 1970 and the reproduction Kluson Super tuners first issued in 2002 were made with modern 15:1 gear ratios.
