Vintage assenhaus coffee grinder; made in West Germany.

Description

The grinder has a light colored wood finish and varnished. It has a metal crank handle on top and compartments on backside. When you open the compartment, there is a white enamel liner where the coffee grinds. I dont know the specifics of front knob, etc... The grinder works; good condition. The metal on top is dull and dirty due to age and use. Light surface wear. There is a circle sticker residue on top near the door. The inside is dirty; maybe from use. The knob to turn the crank is wood, like the body and drawer front which has a black plastic knob. Zassenhaus is on top of the metal crank handle. Overall, fairly good condition wood wise. The drawer is dirty inside. The backside, left seam has a few separations, maybe age related but not bad at all. There is a chip in the woodon left front corner and some near back and a few nicks but not bad at all. It's stamped on underside Made in Western Germany #236. Measures 8.25" X 3 1/8" X 5.75".
