ROYAL WINTON "OLD COTTAGE CHINTZ" COVERED BUTTER DISH

This listing is for a beautiful Royal Winton (Grimwades Ltd.) "Old Cottage Chintz" pattern covered rectangular butter dish, c. 1930-60s.
Produced by Royal Winton in England, this wonderful dish has lovely coloration with a Chintz floral motif with gilt highlights. The pattern number is 9632 and it was introduced in the early 1930s.  It was a very popular pattern and was produced into the early 1960s.
Measures 6 3/8" long and 4 1/2" high.
Both pieces are in excellent condition - free of chips, cracks or repairs.  There is a flaw in the transfer pattern near the edge of the underplate, no other noted flaws. Marked with the "Royal Winton Grimwades, England" stamp, however, the stamp is rubbed and blurred.
