Grimwades Royal Winton Ivory “Old Cottage Chintz” Sugar & Creamer, From Tray Set. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Grimwades Royal Winton Ivory “Old Cottage Chintz” sugar and Eton creamer bowls, most likely part of a very early multi-piece tray set. Double gold rims, bottom stamp indicates they are quite old, circa late 1920s to 30s. Handle of creamer was broken at some point and glued back together. Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks to either piece. The creamer is imprinted with the word “ETON”. Typical/moderate crazing to sugar bowl, very minimal crazing to creamer dish. Sugar bowl is 2” high and 4 1/8” wide. Creamer is approximately 3 1/4” tall at top of handle. From handle to spout is 4 1/8” wide. These measurements indicate they’re slightly taller than the typical breakfast set pieces.
