  • Condition: No chips, cracks, scuff marks, or scratches. There is crazing on both pieces (see last 2 pictures for close-ups of crazing). Colors are even and full, no discoloration. A bit of wear on the gold gilt.

    Description

    This is a Stunning Vintage (about 70 years old) Royal Winton Grimwades Porcelain Jewelry or Trinket Box, depicting Harlech Castle (A Medieval Fortification, built between 1282-1289, by Edward I). About 5 1/4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide, 1 3/4 inches high. The Mark on the bottom dates the piece to the 1940’s. No chips, cracks, scuff marks, or scratches. There is crazing on both pieces (see last 2 pictures for close-ups of crazing). Colors are even and full, no discoloration. A bit of wear on the gold gilt. This item is very difficult to find, and  very collectable.
