  • Condition: Old carved wood appliqué salvage from the headboard of an old bed. Made from a solid piece of what looks to be mahogany. Superficial cracks don’t interfere with stability and haven’t changed in the 30 plus years I’ve owned this piece.

    Description

    This round carved and embossed appliqué was salvaged from a bed headboard. It measures 15 and 9/16 inches in diameter. The back shows signs of age and where it was attached to the upholstery of the headboard. We used it as decor on a wall and later in an easel. It is in very good condition. It dose have superficial hairline cracks and always has. These cracks haven’t changed in the 30 plus years I’ve owned it. It is approximately 1/4” thick.
