How to train your dog correctly.
Step 1:
Train the Dog to Ring a Bell With His Nose.
Before training, you can prepare some snacks. After saying "touch", put the bell in front of the dog's nose. It should touch it with the nose. If it does not touch, use snacks to attract it.
When it touches it, it should immediately say "good job", then it will know that it is right to do so, repeat this behaviour 10-15 times, until the bell is brought in front of the dog, it will touch it immediately.
When the dog is confident that he can touch the bell with his nose, try to place it further away. Whenever you say "touch", the dog can run to touch the bell. You can use 3-5 days to train, and then go to the second stage.
Step 2:
Put a bell on the door, prepare a snack, hold another bell in your hand, and then say "touch" to the dog.
If the dog immediately touches the bell of your hand, you should say "yes" and give it food.
Then repeat this action 5-10 times until the dog can immediately touch the bell with its nose.
Take a break, point to the bell on the door, and say touch it. The dog will immediately run to touch the bell. If it does, it will be rewarded. If not, it will continue to repeat the previous steps.
The training is about 3-5 days.
Step 3:
Train the Dog to ring the bell by himself.
When the dog wants to go out, let the dog touch the bell, and when it touches, open the door, and let it out.
Remember to do this every time you go out, and when it takes the initiative to touch the bell for the first time, immediately reward it with snacks and let it go out.
