    GYRO Safety Razor with Mailer
    This GY-RO Safety Razor was manufactured by the Gy-Ro Safety Razor Company of Los Angeles, California, around 1935. It is a pull-cord wind-up oscillating blade razor that operates on the fly-wheel principle. It uses Gem Micromatic-type double-edge blades. It is similar to the Ji-Ro Safety Razor that I also have listed currently on eBay. The pull-cord is missing as it tends to be from most of these razors found today. However, a similar cord can be used with good results.
    Of note is the mailer the razor was shipped in. The razor was shipped from the company to an individual in Oakland, California, as seen on the mailing tube. Also present are the very old George Washington postage stamps on it. The razor is in wonderful condition.
