All you have to do is put about an 1" of water into a pan, crack an egg into one of the poachers that has been either lightly sprayed with a butter or veg spray or greased with butter, add some seasoning if desired, put it into the pan, close the lid, turn on the heat to boil and voila, in less than 5-10 min at boil, perfect poached eggs. You can also hard boil your eggs without the shells. You can also do 4 scrambled eggs with different added ingredients all at the same time. The ingredients stay put because of the flat bottom construction, just don't overfill the water the little baskets are sitting in.
