    Large coffee grinder for restaurants or bars made in France between 1879 and 1909 by Peugeot Freres Valentigney Doubs (SGDG patent, mod.A1).
    In cast iron, iron hopper (Ø16 cm) with handle (12 cm) and wooden drawer (15 cm; h.7), on the three sides it has three holes that allow it to be fixed to a table. The only square block with drawer measures 15x15 cm; h.8, with the irons to be able to lock it to a table 24x21 cm.
    Before being famous for cars and bicycles, the Peugeot company was a leader in the construction of grinders: it started in 1842 with the design of a pepper mill and from there it started with all sorts of products.
    The old and large coffee grinder is in good condition.
