WORKING - I ground coffee beans in it.
PLUS WOODEN BOX BASE WITH ADDITIONAL DRAWER
The bottom wooden box or stand / lower base has an additional drawer which is also made of wood.
The wood and nails look very old - I am not sure if this part is original - perhaps it was originally in an old General Store?  (I would welcome input from anyone who has knowledge of antique coffee grinders.)
THE ORIGINAL TOP CAP
has been replaced with a turned piece of wood that may have been fashioned to serve as a candle holder?  It is screwed down but can be removed and replaced - or held in place and used for a cap.  I will leave it off for shipping and include it in the package with the 3 screws that were in it.

CONDITION:
From an estate: I have no background or history.  The wheels turn, grinder seems to be all there and working with no cracks in cast iron.
I put coffee beans in and it works!
NOTE: THE TOP CAP IS MISSING and has been replaced with a round wooden piece

he top of the wooden box has a crack but is tight and sturdy (see photos)
