This pair of
boots is from the late 50s or early 60s and exhibits all the styling cues of the period with stacked heels, boxed toes, narrow shafts and hand stitching. They are well over half a century old and quality boots of this vintage and in this condition are getting extremely hard to find.

CONDITION:

PERFECTLY DISTRESSED ORIGINAL
CONDITION SHOWING WEAR COMMENSURATE WITH THEIR AGE. THEY HAVE PERIOD CORRECT CAT'S PAW MICROLITE WELTED COVERS ON THE SOLES AND THE HEELS ARE STILL IN GOOD CONDITION. THE TOES ARE SCUFFED AND THERE ARE VISIBLE NICKS, SCRAPES SCRATCHES AND CRACKING ON THE VAMPS, ADDING TO THEIR
AUTHENTIC PATINA
. THE SHAFTS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION AND ALL PULLS ARE INTACT, WITH JUST A SMALL 1/2" TEAR AT THE BACK OF THE RIGHT BOOT 'V', WHICH CAN BE EASILY FIXED.
THE STITCHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE ON THESE BOOTS, BEING THREE ROWS OF HAND STITCHING IN GOLD, RED AND GREEN IN A CLASSIC AND INTRICATE DROOPING FEATHER DESIGN.
THESE BOOTS HAVE BEEN WELL LOVED, AS BEFITTING A BOOT OF THIS QUALITY AND ORIGINAL COST, BEING FROM THE DAYS WHEN JUSTIN BOOTS WERE STILL MOSTLY HAND-MADE WITH PRIDE, AND NOT TO A COST, LIKE TODAY'S CHEAP FOREIGN MANUFACTURED RUBBISH.  THESE BOOTS WOULD PASS ANY INSPECTION, AS THEY HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY WORN AND ARE CLOSE ON 55 YEARS OLD.
